TABULATING YOUR FINANCES FOR FUN AND PROFIT

I am a trained bookkeeper and have one year of experience tracking the finances of a small publishing and editing firm. In that time, I have tracked invoices, payments, expenses, credit card transactions, transactions involving multiple currencies, GST returns, and other complexities. I simultaneously served as clerk of both accounts payable and accounts receivable, handling incoming and outgoing payments and making sure records in the company financial system tracked them accordingly. When necessary, I prepared profit and loss statements, expense reports, and similar documents.

I have extensive experience with Quickbooks Online and am familiar with alternatives, including Freshbooks, that perform similar functions, in addition to being a whiz with Microsoft Excel and other spreadsheet programs. I can prepare balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and similar documents to keep you informed of where your business stands.

In addition to my professional bookkeeping experience, I also have many more years of experience keeping firm track of household finances, including tax obligations, for myself and others.

Let Me Handle Your Books

If your company finances are a bit much for you on top of being a small business—or you’re having trouble disentangling your business’s math from your household math—look no farther. With a few hours a month, I can tabulate and disambiguate your account statements and turn them into a tidy financial record that will make sure your financial decisions are as informed as they can be. And I’ll make things a lot easier for your accountant, too.

And if you’re asking for help with your personal finances, you’re in luck: I can itemize them to your heart’s content and in particular can tabulate the kinds of information that disability agencies, tax agencies, and similar government bodies tend to ask for.
